Transforming my life was no easy decision. After months of indecisiveness and torn emotions, I made the choice to be more than I could ever dream of. I’m at the start of my journey, and cannot help but feel a peculiar mix of emotions – excitement, apprehension and determination.

I figured out three important steps to take stock of my life and begin this journey:

Every transformation begins with a dream. I’m now focusing my energy so that my dream and my realities will be in sync. To achieve this, I’m creating a routine and breaking down my goals into smaller, manageable tasks. I’m also surrounding myself with inspiring people and actively working on self-improvement.

Here are some of the approaches I plan on taking in the coming months:

  • Exploring new flavours: While I have a sweet tooth, I don’t want to limit myself to the same few flavours. With the help of cookbooks, online recipes, and expert chefs, I plan on expanding my palate and exploring innovative and healthy flavours.
  • Creating a meal plan: Regularly cooking for myself is a great way to ensure I am eating healthy food. To make this easier, I plan on laying out recipes and meals for the week , so that I am not starting from scratch every day.

Overall, I am excited about taking these steps and seeing how my diet and lifestyle evolve in the months ahead. I still have a lot to learn, but I have gained a lot of insight through my journey thus far. With patience and determination, I will reach my goals and embrace a new, healthier lifestyle.
