A: As a parent of a child on the ketogenic diet, I was inspired to document the journey and share insight into the struggles and triumphs of this unique experience. This book is a compilation of my own personal stories, coupled with experiences shared from other parents of Keto kids, to shed light on the day-to-day challenges and benefits of raising a Keto kid.

Q: What has been the most difficult part of your journey?

A: The most difficult part of my journey thus far has been balancing the needs of our Keto kid with the needs of our family as a whole. We’ve had to learn to be more mindful of food choices and how to incorporate our Keto kid’s diet into our daily routine. It has been a challenge to explain and understand keto to extended family members and friends, and we’ve had to navigate a lot of social scenarios and pressure from those who might not understand or fully support the lifestyle.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your experience?

A: Seeing our Keto kid thrive and being able to witness the positive effects of the diet. Over the past few months, we have seen tremendous progress in all areas of his health. This has been incredibly rewarding and has reaffirmed our decision to put him on the Keto diet in the first place. Additionally, it has allowed us to better understand how to support our child and recognize the power of food in our overall well-being.
